Retreat dates: 26 October–4 November 2026 | Klong Thom, Krabi, Thailand | Maximum 4 guests
These Terms & Conditions form part of the agreement between the guest (“you”, “your”) and Prani Wellness Learning (“Prani”, “we”, “us”, “our”), for participation in PRANI RE-EMERGENCE™.
The retreat is a 10-day / 9-night restorative Thai Medicine and hot-spring retreat in Klong Thom, Krabi, Thailand, scheduled for 26 October–4 November 2026 and limited to a maximum of four guests.
These Terms should be read together with your approved application, booking agreement, payment schedule, confirmed retreat guide and any written variation agreed by both parties.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
Submitting an application does not create a booking or guarantee a place. Mannie reviews applications personally and may invite an applicant to a short conversation before a place is offered.
A place is offered only after Prani confirms acceptance in writing. Prani may decline an application where the retreat is not considered an appropriate fit, including where participation, health, safety, accommodation or programme requirements cannot reasonably be supported.
Current retreat investment options are:
Your selected accommodation arrangement and total investment will be confirmed in writing before payment is requested. If an accommodation option becomes unavailable before payment, Prani will discuss available alternatives with you before a booking is formed.
After your application has been approved, a USD $1,000 deposit is required to secure your place. Your place is confirmed only when Prani has received both the signed booking agreement and the required deposit.
The deposit forms part of the total retreat price. It is not described in these Terms as automatically non-refundable. Any amount retained following a guest cancellation will be determined under clause 8 and applicable law.
The remaining balance may be paid in one final payment or through an agreed instalment plan. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all outstanding payments must be received by 15 September 2026.
A tailored payment schedule must be agreed in writing. Missing an instalment does not automatically cancel the booking; Prani will contact you and provide a reasonable opportunity to remedy the missed payment before taking further action, unless the retreat start date makes that impracticable.
Your booking agreement will identify the currency in which your booking is payable. Any bank, card, transfer, exchange-rate or intermediary fees charged by your payment provider are your responsibility unless Prani states otherwise in writing.
A payment is treated as received when cleared funds are received by Prani.
Subject to the confirmed retreat guide and any reasonable programme changes under these Terms, the retreat includes nine nights’ accommodation, the core retreat programme, six-hour online preparation, four 90-minute Thai wellness treatments, 27 scheduled meals, two cultural immersion days, scheduled group transfers described in clause 15, Traditional Thai Medicine learning, retreat resources and 40 CPD hours through the Massage Association of Australia (MAA).
Specific classes, treatment timing, cultural activities, meal venues and daily sequencing may change where reasonably necessary for safety, weather, tides, provider availability or operational reasons.
If you wish to cancel, you must notify Prani in writing as soon as possible.
Where you cancel for reasons unrelated to a failure by Prani to provide the contracted retreat services, Prani may deduct from amounts paid the reasonable costs and losses caused by your cancellation, including non-recoverable accommodation, venue, teacher, treatment, transport, cultural-programme, payment-processing and administration costs that have already been incurred or irrevocably committed for your booking.
Prani will take reasonable steps to reduce avoidable losses where practicable, including attempting to re-sell the place where there is sufficient time and a suitable replacement guest can be accepted. If the place is successfully re-sold, any deduction from your payments will be limited to reasonable unrecoverable costs and reasonable administration costs actually associated with your cancellation and replacement.
As the retreat date approaches, a larger proportion of retreat costs may already be non-recoverable. This means the amount available for refund may reduce over time. Prani will provide a written explanation of any amount retained if requested.
This clause does not limit any right to a refund or other remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law or another law that cannot be excluded.
You may request to transfer your booking to another person. Any replacement guest must complete the application process and be approved by Prani before the transfer is accepted.
A transfer is subject to accommodation availability, supplier restrictions and any reasonable direct costs or administration costs caused by the change. Prani will tell you about any such costs before confirming the transfer.
A booking cannot be sold, advertised or transferred to another person without Prani’s written approval.
If Prani cancels the retreat for reasons within its control and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, Prani will refund payments received for retreat services not supplied, subject to any additional rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Prani is not responsible for your separate travel purchases, including flights, pre- or post-retreat accommodation, visas, insurance or other independent travel arrangements, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded. This is one reason comprehensive travel insurance and flexible or refundable travel bookings are strongly recommended.
The retreat is limited to a maximum of four guests. We require minimum of 3 guests to commence the retreat.
If Prani sets a minimum operating number and that number is not reached, Prani may cancel the retreat by giving affected guests written notice as soon as reasonably practicable. In that event, payments received for retreat services not supplied will be refunded, and Prani will not be responsible for independent travel costs except to the extent required by law.
The retreat takes place in a live travel environment. Prani may make reasonable changes to the order, timing, location or content of activities where required by weather, tides, local conditions, health or safety concerns, teacher or therapist availability, transport, venue operations or other practical circumstances.
Planned cultural days may move within the retreat dates if weather, tides or local operating conditions require it. Outdoor or water-based activities may be modified, substituted or cancelled where conditions are unsafe.
Prani will aim to preserve the overall character and value of the retreat. If a material pre-retreat change substantially alters the main subject matter of the booking, Prani will notify you and discuss an appropriate remedy consistent with applicable law.
Events outside the reasonable control of either party may include severe weather, natural disaster, fire, flood, epidemic or public-health restrictions, war, civil disturbance, government action, transport disruption, border closure, venue closure or other comparable events.
If such an event prevents or materially affects performance, Prani will act reasonably and in accordance with applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, options may include a reasonable programme change, rescheduling, credit, replacement service or refund. Any refund calculation may take into account reasonable and genuinely non-recoverable third-party costs where the law permits.
Nothing in this clause removes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
Do not book flights until your retreat place has been formally confirmed and you have received the current written arrival information.
International and domestic flights are not included. You are responsible for arranging travel to and from the designated group meeting point and for any travel before or after the retreat.
Guests are recommended to arrive in Phuket by Sunday 25 October 2026. Flexible or refundable fares are strongly recommended.
On Monday 26 October 2026, the group will meet near Phuket International Airport at approximately 9:30–9:45 am. The scheduled private group transfer will depart at 10:00 am for Klong Thom, with a welcome lunch planned at Yak Space at approximately 1:00 pm before continuing to the Hot Spring Retreat.
On Wednesday 4 November 2026, the scheduled return transfer will depart the Hot Spring Retreat at approximately 11:00 am for Phuket International Airport. Guests are recommended to book departing flights for 5:00 pm or later.
Exact meeting instructions are supplied to confirmed guests before travel. If you miss a scheduled transfer because of late arrival, flight disruption or another reason unrelated to the transfer service itself, you are responsible for arranging and paying for an alternative transfer unless Prani agrees otherwise in writing.
Prani will provide reasonable assistance with alternative arrangements where practicable but cannot guarantee that the group itinerary can be delayed.
You are responsible for ensuring that your passport, visa status, entry permissions, health documentation and any other travel documents meet the requirements applicable to your nationality and travel plans.
Entry rules can change. You should check official government sources relevant to your passport and travel dates before booking travel and again before departure.
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and should be arranged as soon as practical after booking. Your policy should be appropriate to your circumstances and intended activities and should be considered for medical expenses, evacuation, cancellation, travel disruption, baggage and personal liability.
You are responsible for understanding the exclusions, limits and claims requirements of your policy.
The retreat includes nine nights’ accommodation at the Hot Spring Retreat from 26 October to 4 November 2026.
Twin-share and private accommodation are subject to availability. Your confirmed room type will be stated in your booking agreement.
You must respect venue rules and other guests. Damage caused by you beyond ordinary wear and tear may be charged to you to the extent reasonably attributable to your actions.
The retreat includes 27 scheduled meals: lunch and dinner on Day 1; breakfast, lunch and dinner on Days 2–9; and breakfast on Day 10.
Meals may be served at the Hot Spring Retreat, Yak Space or venues included in the cultural programme. Alcoholic drinks and additional meals, snacks and drinks outside the scheduled meal plan are not included.
You must disclose food allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements before your booking is finalised. Prani will make reasonable enquiries with venues and providers, but highly specialised diets or complete elimination of cross-contact risks may not always be possible. If your dietary needs cannot reasonably be supported, Prani will discuss this with you before accepting or finalising your booking where practicable.
The retreat includes hot-spring bathing, light movement, hands-on practical activities, treatments, walking and cultural excursions. You are responsible for considering whether participation is suitable for you and for seeking appropriate medical advice where needed.
You must provide accurate information about relevant health conditions, allergies, medications, injuries, pregnancy, mobility or access needs, heat sensitivity, skin conditions or other matters that may affect safe participation in treatments, hot springs, movement, herbs or excursions.
Health information is requested only to support safety, reasonable adjustments, treatment suitability and emergency planning. Detailed health information will be collected separately from the public application form.
The retreat includes four 90-minute Thai wellness treatments and guided Traditional Thai Medicine learning. These experiences are provided for wellness, cultural and educational purposes and are not a substitute for individual medical diagnosis or treatment.
Therapists, teachers or Prani may modify, postpone or decline a treatment or activity if they reasonably consider it unsuitable or unsafe for you. Where possible, an appropriate alternative will be discussed.
You should communicate discomfort, heat sensitivity, pain, allergy concerns or any other issue promptly during a treatment or practical session.
Except where an activity is necessary for safety or logistics, you may choose not to participate in a particular optional activity. Personal rest time is intentionally built into the retreat.
Choosing not to participate in an included activity does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund for that activity, unless required by law or agreed by Prani in writing.
Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, teachers, therapists, local hosts, drivers, venue staff and community members, and to respect Thai cultural norms, local customs, sacred or community spaces and programme instructions.
Harassment, threatening behaviour, discriminatory conduct, deliberate disruption, unsafe conduct or serious disrespect towards people or places is not acceptable.
Alcoholic drinks are not included in the retreat. You must not participate in treatments, practical sessions, hot-spring bathing, boating, kayaking or other safety-sensitive activities while impaired by alcohol, non-prescribed drugs or any substance that makes participation unsafe.
Prani or a provider may refuse participation where impairment creates a reasonable safety concern.
If you choose to leave the retreat early for personal reasons, you are responsible for your onward travel and related costs. Any refund request will be considered under clause 8 and applicable law.
Prani may require a guest to leave where there is serious or repeated unsafe, abusive or disruptive conduct and reasonable steps to address the issue have failed or urgent action is necessary for safety. Prani will act proportionately and document the reason. Any refund will depend on the circumstances, reasonable costs and applicable law.
You are responsible for passports, money, devices, jewellery, luggage and other personal belongings. Use any available safes or secure storage where appropriate.
Prani is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property except to the extent caused by Prani’s failure to exercise reasonable care or where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Participation in the retreat does not automatically give Prani permission to use identifiable photographs, video, voice recordings or testimonials of you for marketing.
Any marketing consent will be requested separately and must be voluntary. You may decline marketing photography or testimonial use without affecting your retreat participation, subject to reasonable limitations in group or public settings where incidental background capture may occur.
The retreat is advertised with 40 CPD hours through the Massage Association of Australia (MAA). Any certificate is subject to the attendance, participation or assessment requirements notified to guests and to the rules of the relevant issuing or recognising body.
The six-hour online preparation is part of the retreat preparation and is not represented as a separate professional qualification.
Some retreat elements are delivered by independent venues, therapists, teachers, drivers, boat operators, community hosts and other third-party providers. Prani selects and coordinates providers with reasonable care but does not control every operational decision made by an independent provider.
Third-party safety requirements, venue rules and reasonable participation conditions may apply in addition to these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, Prani is not liable for loss arising solely from your independent travel arrangements, your failure to follow reasonable safety instructions, undisclosed information that materially affects safe participation, or the acts or omissions of third parties outside Prani’s reasonable control.
Any limitation of liability in these Terms is intended to operate only to the maximum extent permitted by law and must be read subject to your non-excludable consumer rights.
Prani collects personal information reasonably required to assess applications, administer bookings, arrange accommodation and transfers, support dietary and access needs, plan treatments and activities, communicate with guests and respond to emergencies.
Sensitive or health information will be collected only where reasonably necessary for retreat safety or administration and with appropriate consent where required. Prani will not use health information for marketing.
A privacy collection notice should accompany the application and any detailed health form. Marketing communications should use a separate, optional consent.
If you have a concern before or during the retreat, please raise it with Mannie as soon as reasonably possible so there is an opportunity to address it.
Formal complaints may be sent to learning@praniwellnesslearning.com. Prani will respond within a reasonable time and seek a practical resolution. This process does not prevent you from exercising any right to contact a consumer regulator, tribunal, court or other body with jurisdiction.
Subject to any mandatory law that applies, these Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia and applicable Commonwealth law. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts and tribunals with jurisdiction in Victoria, without limiting any statutory right to bring a claim elsewhere where the law permits.
This clause should be confirmed by Prani’s Australian legal adviser once the contracting legal entity is inserted.
Prani will not unilaterally impose a material change to these Terms on an existing confirmed booking unless the change is required by law, is reasonably necessary for safety or administration and does not materially disadvantage the guest, or the guest agrees to the change.
Any material variation affecting price, cancellation rights or the main subject matter of the booking should be agreed in writing.
Your booking agreement, these Terms, confirmed payment schedule and confirmed retreat guide together form the written agreement for the retreat. If there is an inconsistency, a later document expressly agreed in writing by both parties will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
Marketing materials and social-media posts are not intended to override the confirmed written booking documents.
Before payment is requested, you will be asked to confirm that you have read and understood the booking agreement and these Terms, had the opportunity to ask questions, and understand the key inclusions, exclusions, payment obligations, cancellation arrangements, travel responsibilities and health-disclosure requirements.
