PERHAPS THIS IS WHERE YOU ARE NOW

You have become very good at holding everything together.

You are capable, responsible and accustomed to moving from one demand to the next. From the outside, life may look successful and well managed.

Yet beneath the productivity, you might feel quietly exhausted — distant from yourself, uncertain of what comes next.

You do not need another busy holiday, another self-improvement programme or someone telling you to work harder on yourself. What you may need is genuine distance from the noise — and enough care, time and stillness to hear yourself again.

  • You find it difficult to switch off
  • Rest often comes with guilt
  • Your life feels full, but not nourishing
  • You are questioning what comes next
  • You care for everyone except yourself
  • You want something deeper than a holiday

This retreat begins with permission to stop.

No pressure to arrive with answers. Nothing to prove, nothing to perform.

NOT ANOTHER RETREAT

Imagine ten days where you do not have to keep up.

Your days unfold slowly: warm mineral water, slow meals, treatments simply received, quiet reflection, and carefully paced experiences in Traditional Thai Medicine.

There is space to learn , but just as much space to rest, wander, journal, sit beside the water, or simply do nothing, without the feeling that you should be somewhere else.

You are not travelling to complete an exhausting programme or perform a personal transformation. You are stepping into a gentler rhythm, where care, culture and Thai wisdom are allowed to meet you naturally.

01

Begin without rushing

Meditation, breakfast and space to arrive in your own time.

02

Receive genuine care

Hot springs and four included Thai wellness treatments.

03

Experience living traditions

Medicinal herbs, compresses and Thai wellness practices.

04

Return to quiet

Free time, journalling, nature and evenings without pressure.

This is not a retreat you must keep up with.

It is a retreat designed to help you finally slow down.

THE PRANI RE-EMERGENCE™ JOURNEY

Rest. Receive. Re-emerge.

PRANI RE-EMERGENCE™ unfolds as a simple progression.

First, you step away from the pace and pressure of everyday life. Then, you allow yourself to receive care, nourishment and meaningful experiences- without needing to manage the outcome. Finally, you create space to notice what you want to carry home, and what you may be ready to leave behind.

Rest

Step away from constant urgency

Rest means more than time away from work.

It means entering a slower rhythm — one where hours are left unfilled, free time is protected, and you are not expected to remain productive.

Your days include natural hot springs, quiet mornings, spacious afternoons and time to journal, read, walk or simply do nothing.

You do not need to earn your rest.

Receive

Allow yourself to be cared for

Throughout the retreat, you will receive Thai wellness treatments, nourishing meals, half-day sessions in Traditional Thai Medicine with Dr. Rossamon, guided reflection with Mannie, hospitality and the quiet support of a carefully held four-person group.

You are not always required to learn, participate or give something back.

Sometimes, the practice is simply allowing care to reach you.

Receiving is not indulgence. It is part of restoration.

Re-emerge

Return with greater clarity and connection

Re-emergence is not about becoming a completely different person in ten days.

It is about noticing what becomes possible when exhaustion, noise and constant responsibility begin to soften.

Through guided reflection with Mannie, Traditional Thai Medicine and distance from your everyday environment, you may return with a clearer sense of what matters, and a more grounded way of caring for yourself.

You are not travelling to become someone new. You are creating space to re-emerge as yourself.

The Five Programme Pillars

PRANI RE-EMERGENCE™ brings together rest, received care, Traditional Thai Medicine, reflection and meaningful connection with southern Thailand.

Each element supports the others. The retreat is not a collection of unrelated activities, and no single day is expected to carry the entire experience.

01

Rest in Nature

Let the environment help you slow down

The Hot Spring Retreat’s natural hot springs, tropical landscape and quieter pace become part of the retreat itself.

Daily hot-spring time and protected personal space allow your body and mind to move gradually out of urgency.

You may choose to journal, read, walk, rest in your room or simply spend time beside the water.

Includes:

  • Daily hot-spring access
  • Unstructured personal time
  • Quiet mornings or afternoons
  • Rest between teaching and cultural activities

02

Receive Thai Care

Experience what it feels like to be looked after

Four Thai wellness treatments are included throughout the retreat, allowing care to be received gradually rather than compressed into one spa day.

These experiences complement the hot springs, meals and slower daily rhythm.

The emphasis is not on luxury for display. It is on comfort, attention and allowing yourself to receive without needing to perform.

Includes:

  • Four received treatments
  • Thai wellness applications
  • Hot-spring hydrotherapy
  • Nourishing meals and Thai hospitality

03

Experience Traditional Thai Medicine

Learn through herbs, touch and living practice

Traditional Thai Medicine is introduced through accessible, carefully paced experiences rather than intensive classroom study.

With Dr. Rossamon, guests will explore Thai medicinal plants, herbal compresses, Hom Yaa, gentle body applications, facial compresses and selected poultice traditions.

Professional practitioners may recognise ways these experiences connect with their work, while non-practitioners can participate without needing previous training.

Includes:

  • Fresh medicinal plants
  • Herbal-compress preparation
  • Burning herb therapy, or Hom Yaa
  • Gentle abdominal and body applications
  • Thai facial compress and acupressure
  • Traditional poultice preparation

04

Reflect and Reconnect

Create space to hear yourself again

Meditation, guided journalling and personal reflection provide continuity across the retreat.

These practices are not designed to force disclosure or manufacture an emotional breakthrough.

They offer a quiet structure for noticing what you are feeling, what you may need and what you would like to carry into the next chapter of your life.

Includes:

  • Opening intention-setting
  • Daily meditation
  • Guided journalling
  • Reflection on water and Thai wellness traditions
  • Personal return-home integration

05

Connect with Place and Culture

Experience southern Thailand beyond the resort

The retreat includes meaningful time with local landscapes, food and communities.

Cultural experiences are selected for their relationship to nature, hospitality and daily life—not simply to fill the itinerary with sightseeing.

Guests will visit Baan Nai Nang and experience the character of Koh Lanta and its mangrove communities, with local food and hands-on activities woven through the journey.

Includes:

  • Baan Nai Nang community programme
  • Mangrove and limestone landscapes
  • Local cooking and food traditions
  • Natural tie-dye and community activities
  • Koh Lanta Old Town
  • Tung Yee Peng mangrove experience

Full details will appear later in the dedicated cultural immersion section.

TWO DAYS BEYOND THE RETREAT GROUNDS

Two carefully chosen days take you beyond the retreat grounds, without turning the experience into a rushed sightseeing tour. Each reflects the landscape, food and community life of Krabi and Koh Lanta, bringing movement and discovery to the retreat while its quieter rhythm continues undisturbed.

CULTURAL IMMERSION DAY 1

A Day With the Baan Nai Nang Community

Baan Nai Nang Spend the day with the Baan Nai Nang community, among Krabi’s limestone landscape, mangrove waterways and village life. The day brings together nature, food and hands on activity, a closer look at how local knowledge, hospitality and everyday tradition continue to shape the community.

This is not a tour through the community. It is a chance to take part, learn and share food with the people who live there.

Baan Nai Nang, the day includes:

  • Travelling through mangrove and limestone landscape
  • A long-tail boat or waterway journey
  • Kayaking through the mangrove canal
  • A community-prepared lunch
  • A hands on cooking class
  • Learning about regional ingredients and food traditions
  • Preparing or tasting a traditional dessert
  • A natural tie-dye activity
  • Seasonal drinks and refreshments
  • Time with community hosts

CULTURAL IMMERSION DAY 2

Koh Lanta and Tung Yee Peng

Koh Lanta Old Town and Tung Yee Peng Travel to Koh Lanta for an unhurried look at the island’s character, both built and natural. The day pairs the historic streets of Koh Lanta Old Town with the mangroves of Tung Yee Peng, balancing local life, food and gentle activity.

This day is not about seeing as much as possible. It is about the quieter side of Koh Lanta, its landscapes, communities and food.

Koh Lanta, the day includes:

  • Time in Koh Lanta Old Town
  • Exploring the traditional streets, shops and waterfront
  • Learning about the island’s cultural character
  • Visiting the Tung Yee Peng mangrove community
  • Kayaking or travelling through the mangrove canal
  • A fish or marine life experience, where available
  • Regional lunch or dinner
  • Time to browse and walk, without rushing

Traditional Thai Medicine: Learn Through Living Practice

Before you travel, a six-hour online study component introduces the cultural foundations, key terminology, medicinal herbs and traditional practices you meet during the retreat. This means the classes in Thailand can stay practical, carefully paced and part of the wider retreat experience.

In Thailand, you learn through herbs, touch, demonstration and guided practice. Mannie introduces meditation, journalling, water as living medicine, Thai hydrotherapy traditions and the foundations of herbal compress preparation. From 31 October to 3 November, Dr. Rossamon leads small group classes: fresh medicinal plants, herbal compress making, Hom Yaa burning herb therapy, abdominal applications, body compress techniques, facial compress and acupressure, neck and shoulder work, and selected eye and knee poultices.

Four included Thai wellness treatments let you receive these traditions, not only learn about them. With only four guests, there is time for close guidance, questions, hands on participation and rest between sessions.

No previous experience with Traditional Thai Medicine is required. Practitioners can apply the learning to their existing work, while non-practitioners can take part through observation, preparation, receiving and carefully guided practice.

Treatments and Received Care

TIME TO RECEIVE

Four Thai wellness treatments, given across the retreat

Receiving is a central part of PRANI RE-EMERGENCE™.

Across the ten days, each guest receives four Thai wellness treatments at the Hot Spring Retreat. Rather than placing every treatment into one intensive spa day, they are set through the programme to complement the hot springs, classes, cultural days and quieter periods of rest.

These treatments let you experience Thai wellness traditions from the receiver’s perspective, not only by learning about techniques, but by feeling their pace, touch and application for yourself.

With only four guests, the experience stays personal, unhurried and carefully coordinated with the wider retreat.

The retreat is limited to four people, allowing the teaching, treatments and daily rhythm to remain personal, carefully paced and unhurried.

Traditional Thai Medicine is a recognised Thai system of knowledge that includes herbal applications, bodywork, traditional therapies and culturally specific approaches to health and care.

Learning directly from Dr. Rossamon, a licensed Traditional Thai Medicine doctor, gives guests culturally informed teaching, correct preparation of traditional materials and a clearer understanding of the context behind the practices.

Before travelling, guests complete a six-hour online study component introducing the cultural background, key terminology, medicinal herbs and selected practices explored during the retreat.

At the Hot Spring Retreat, Mannie introduces meditation, journalling, Thai herbal-compress foundations, medicinal herbs and the relationship between water and Thai wellness traditions.
